Arkitera Architecture Center which has published many publications and organized many activities, with the purpose of developing architecture culture in Turkey, has supported its information sharing in various platforms through architecture schools, students, graduates and academicians, on 29 October – 10 November 2007 with the Arkitera in Campus meeting and has done one presentation each in 37 universities, which have architecture departments in Turkey and TRNN.
Through “Ankitera in Campus” meeting organized by Arkitera Architecture Center, information about universities has been complied, questions of over 1,500 academicians and architect candidates have been answered, their views have been listened and 12,500 km has been covered for this aim.
Arkitera in Campus project, which has brought together the students with the architecture culture platform as planned, has been met with great interest in universities outside İstanbul and Ankara. With the meeting that took place in both public and foundation universities, a great amount of information has been compiled from teaching staff to university organizations. Information has been compiled about, students from different areas, such as city planning, interior decoration, were also among the participants of this meetings. The requests, views and tendencies of each student group with Arkitera in Campus, besides architect candidates.
